Hill Country Doors offers customized or pre-designed wood doors, which are handcrafted with no exterior nails, staples or screws. By taking the extra time to fasten the wood door design from the rear, our doors provide a clean, visually superior exterior finish while minimizing areas of exposure to the elements.
We hand select our wood, inspecting every piece for defects to make a quality wood door with attention to detail.
Western Red Cedar is our most common material for our custom-made wood garage doors; however, we utilize several other species including African Mahogany, Spanish Cedar and a variety of other exotic hardwoods.
Our craftsmen meticulously cut, join and plane each door which can be custom finished in-house or unfinished for a more rustic look.  Finish options are abundant, and we also offer a unique Sou Sugi Ban finish.  Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese exterior siding technique that preserves wood by charring it. The process involves charring the wood, cooling it, cleaning it, and finishing it with natural oil. Although time-consuming, the final product is not only gorgeous, with its rich, silvery finish; the charred wood also resists fire, rot, insects, and can last up to 80 years.
We ship to all lower 48 states; if you have need of a unique, one of a kind custom wood garage door we can ship to you.
